From Udine to the symbolic place of international opera music. Euro&Promos FM S.p.A will be responsible for keeping the areas of La Scala Theatre in Milan safe with green sanitisation and low environmental impact.
The Friuli-based company, which is one of the main national players in the facility management sector and specialises in environmental cleaning and sanitation services, is already at work in view of the “Premiere” scheduled for 7 December, when Giuseppe Verdi’s Macbeth will be performed on the Milan stage.
“The awarding of the contract to La Scala is a source of great satisfaction for Euro&Promos, both for the prestige that La Scala brings with it, and for the proof of trust given to us by such an important client, whose symbol is excellence. For us, this customer, like other important customers who have chosen us as their partner this year, represents the crowning achievement of a journey that we have been pursuing for years with commitment and professionalism,” says Alberto Tavano Colussi, Colussi’s managing director. – says Alberto Tavano Colussi, Managing Director of Euro&Promos FM S.p.A.
Euro&Promos continues to grow, with a forecast turnover at the end of the year of over 120 million Euros, +20% compared to the previous year. Hiring goes hand in hand, +300 people in the first half of the year, plus, among others, 40 people for this new job, which will require sanitation and auxiliary services on 85 thousand m² of total surface area.
After months marked by cancellations and closures, the world of theatre has restarted with a series of attentions that have inevitably changed.
The solutions that are usually applied to sanitise health facilities will be used. The sole objective: prevention and control of biological risk in indoor environments, in order to guarantee maximum safety, attention and comfort for spectators and artists.
Specialised operators will take turns to ensure the cleaning of common areas and those intended for artists and workers, with interventions also at the ticket office and at the entrance to the theatre before public access. Techniques that the company has been experimenting, among others, together with the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Udine with the aim of continuously improving performance (contributing effectively to the process of disinfecting surfaces) while monitoring the service in terms of environmental sustainability and responsible consumption of resources.
For Alberto Tavano Colussi, CEO of Euro&Promos, “The facility management sector has gained centrality and importance in recent years. This is an important job and for this reason I want to highlight the valuable work carried out daily by our employees, which is fundamental for the life of the community. By now we have all understood that the resumption of activities, including performances in theatres and cinemas, depends on these professional interventions, which, together with the dedication and care of our staff, are enabling us to return to normality. Doing this with an eye to the environment is a plus of which we are particularly proud“.
