An extraordinary edition of the Award recognises the company active in the facility management sector for the capacity for action and commitment demonstrated during the health emergency.
Cutting-edge sanitation for a dynamic and efficient response to the pandemic emergency. This is the essential contribution made by Euro&Promos FM S.p.A. to the health structures of the city of Portogruaro engaged in the fight against Covid-19.
The Friuli-based company, a national leader in the facility management sector, was awarded the Gervino City of Portogruaro Prize, a reconfirmation of the commitment and professionalism of its human capital that distinguishes it in the healthcare cleaning sector.
The work carried out by Euro&Promos for the Portogruaro health system demonstrated the company’s ability to operate with discretion and sensitivity in a period of extreme uncertainty.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, when the term sanitation entered the common glossary, Euro&Promos has responded promptly to the new need. The company, which employs 5500 people, has deployed its expertise in the cleaning and sanitisation sector, enabling others to live and work in safety.
The entry of the virus into public and private sector companies and healthcare facilities has mobilised the cleaning and sanitising services sector significantly. Euro&Promos was prepared for this exponential increase in demand, managing to expand its employment volumes and thus confirming its capacity for growth.
This is why the Portogruaro Town Council awarded the Gervino Prize to the multiservice company Euro&Promos. The award was presented, on Saturday 20th November at the Russolo Theatre at 5pm, to two of the company’s employees.
The Gervino Prize is the most prestigious award instituted by the Portogruaro Town Council, aimed at citizens, but also at local collective bodies that bring prestige to the town through their professionalism and their works.
Numerous socio-cultural associations in Portogruaro proposed this extraordinary edition to the Municipal Administration to reward those who work and have worked in the front line against Covid-19. The proposal was accepted: the ceremony, which began every three years, has changed its rules for this 2021 edition, dedicated to those who have acted in the front line during the health emergency.
Individuals, associations and institutions were awarded the prize. In particular, the health staff of ULSS4, together with the staff of personal care services, including home care, as well as Polins (Punto vaccinale Portogruaro), which is responsible for supplying vaccines. The same award was presented to the Portogruaro nursing school and to IPAB Residenza per Anziani Giuseppe Francescon.
The Italian Red Cross and the Civil Defence of Portogruaro were also awarded for their social and health service commitment to the city.
For each professional group, two collaborators chosen by their respective companies took part in the ceremony and were awarded prizes. Fatime Kura and Cinzia Vignando received the award on behalf of Euro&Promos FM S.p.A. and all their colleagues. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. You were special!!!
The Municipal Administration, in fact, wanted to recognise the courage and sense of responsibility of those who contributed to the fight against the pandemic.
