Euro&Promos’ growth through women

The Udine-based company, one of the leading national players in facility management, recently closed a half-yearly report that recorded a 37.5% increase over the same period last year, with a turnover of EUR 65 million.
The company’s continuous growth is characterised by a driving force that comes from a “pink engine”. In fact, there are more than 5,000 women working throughout the country, out of a total of almost 7,000 employees. More than 70% of the entire workforce is therefore female, with an average age ranging from 30 to 55.

In Friuli Venezia Giulia alone, Euro&Promos employs more than 700 women.

The president of Euro&Promos FM S.p.A., Gloria Querini, is a woman, as is a large part of the management team, including Patrizia Sacilotto, control manager, Federica Zerman, HR Manager, Elsie Cargniel Bergamasco, Chief Legal Officer, Nada Savorgnan, Purchasing Manager, Giorgia Onivello, Director of the Culture Division, and Valentina Zilli, who is in charge of corporate communications.
“We know how to reconcile work with our role in the family,” explains Gloria Querini. “People are able to be productive based on what they manage to do in their private lives, and this is the philosophy we follow at Euro&Promos.

We are professionals/steamers in the invisible” she continues, citing the Brand’s payoff.Just Think of the thousands of women who work in hospitals, retirement homes and the headquarters of major groups. These are fundamental tasks for society, often taken for granted. And passion, care and attention are typical characteristics of women“.

Federica Zerman, personnel director, who has been with the group for over 20 years and has been at the forefront in observing the pink tide grow and evolve, says: “We have women who have spent most of their professional lives with us, and this is a distinctive sign of how they are linked to the company and the company to them. We have never stopped and even during the pandemic we continued to expand the team, including many young graduates, who have the advantage of bringing a certain freshness and new skills.

In this historical period,” Querini recalls, “the role of facility management was essential. The pandemic was a revolution that changed our habits and the attention we pay to everyday life. Our sector has regained centrality and importance. Euro&Promos is therefore now focusing on technological innovation and research, as well as on training our staff.”
Finally, the President is keen to point out: “It would not be possible to achieve our goals without the perfect combination of the strengths and weaknesses of all of us, men and women together. For example, we strongly believe in partnerships between companies, the local area and institutions.”
