The social commitment of Euro & Promos over the next weekend will be dedicated to sport.
WIRun, the non-competitive 5 km race to give a strong signal against violence against women, will be held on Sunday 25 November in Trento.
The initiative, which has been successfully repeated for several years, takes place in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Municipality of Trento and the University of Trento. The event is also supported by several sponsors, among others, as usual, Euro & Promos.
The goal is to support the many women who still find themselves in conditions of physical or psychological violence with their sons and daughters or are trying hard to get out of it. In fact, the proceeds will be donated to the Fund “Violence is not a destiny” that finances the small practical needs necessary to start an individual path of exit from violence.
The following weekend we will be present at the Telethon 2018 24 x 1 hour relay race with our team of “expert” riders & “solidarity” riders. There will be a total of 550 teams that, at the start at 3 pm of Saturday 1 the same time of Sunday, December 2, will move the heart of Udine for solidarity. The aim of the event is to raise funds for scientific research for rare genetic diseases. Udine, a unique case in Italy, has been combined for years with a specific project linked to the ongoing research on Pompe disease, a serious metabolic dysfunction of genetic origin that affects the muscles. The study, supported by the Telethon Foundation, takes place at the ICEB of Trieste, with the coordination of the Regional Center for Rare Diseases of the Udine University Hospital.
