The Italian Antitrust Authority awarded Euro&Promos the three stars, granting the highest score obtainable in terms of Legality Rating.
The classification is a tool that the Ministry of Economic Development has made available to companies to promote the principles of ethical behaviour in the company. Therefore, it is an award that, at the same time, is an indicator of compliance with the principles of legality and careful business management within the companies that apply for it.
To date, 4,734 companies have been listed by the Italian Antitrust Authority. Of these, only 260 companies obtained the highest score. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, two other companies obtained the three “stars”, Icop Spa of Basiliano and Omnia Costruzioni srl in Trieste.
The Board of Directors is pleased to learn about this important award.
The regulation requires compliance with different requirements, ranging from compliance with the Legality Protocol signed by the Ministry of the Interior and Confindustria, to compliance with self-regulatory ethical codes adopted by trade associations, up to the choice of adopting processes to guarantee forms of Corporate Social Responsibility. The relation between legality and social responsibility is inevitably close.
